- Factors contributing to adverse incidents: Human factors, organisational factors, other contributory factors
- Which events should be investigated and by whom?
- Legal requirements for reporting accidents (RIDDOR).
- The principles and process of accident investigation.
- Information gathering and recording.
- Discussion of real-life scenarios.
