About This Course
This course offers a basic introduction to health and safety at work. It is designed to help delegates understand the duties of both the employee and the employer in maintaining a safe workplace.
The course guides delegates through the Health and Safety at Work Act and teach them about the fundamentals of health and safety in a low-risk office environment.
The course covers the most crucial aspects of health and safety that are present, including display screen equipment (DSE), fire safety, manual handling, CoSHH and electrical safety.
Course Aims
- To help employers to comply with The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 which requires employers to provide information and training to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety at work of employees.
- To teach delegates about the main hazards and risks to health and safety at work, and provide key information and training on how to control the risks.
